Current Students

Resources and information important for you as a current student are listed below. We recommend that you also familiarize yourself with Acadia's academic regulations and information, particularly dates and deadlines.

It is the graduate student’s responsibility to track their own progress through their degree program using the University Academic Calendar and their program planner, paying careful attention to degree requirements, regulations, and important dates. Full-time students are reminded to check the course listing tab on the Open Acadia website to confirm course start and end dates.  Part-time students are advised to get their core courses first, to the extent possible. Core courses are not offered as often as electives and students can end up at the end of their program waiting an entire semester for the core course to come up in rotation, whereas electives are relatively easy to access near the end of their program.

Also, it should be noted that a strict expectation of all graduate programmes is that students will be available to attend all classes. While excusable illness or family emergencies sometimes unexpectedly arise, students who know in advance that they are not available to attend pre-arranged classes should consider themselves ineligible to enroll in the relevant course.
