Class Afloat

Class-Afloat---Programs-1

Founded in 1984, West Island College International – Class Afloat™ offers young people from around the world the opportunity to challenge a rigorous program of academic study while engaging in sensitive and sustainable practices, developing leadership skills and raising cross-cultural awareness. Through an arrangement between West Island College International and Open Acadia, students enrolled with Class Afloat may apply for admission and register in Acadia University online courses. Courses offered are those suited best to both the shipboard environment and the geo-cultural and geo-historical opportunities afforded by the vessel’s itinerary.
